As if more proof was needed

Everybody knows a Dallas Cowboy fan. Everybody wishes they could be a Dallas Cowboy fan. And most Dallas Cowboy fans couldn't care less about the Packers.

However, as a resident of the great state of Wisconsin, I had to laugh during the Mike Sherman press conference:
"Mike, last year Ed Donatel was made the scapegoat for the team's defensive performance in the last game..."
[tersely] "So YOU say."

Now, half the media was screaming for scalps after last year's loss, and the scalp cry has already started. See here and here:
Coach Mike Sherman has won a ton of regular-season games but hasn’t even reached the NFC Championship Game in five years. His team failed even to compete Sunday, just as it didn’t against St. Louis in 2001 and against Atlanta in 2002. Last year, Sherman blew it himself in Philadelphia by not going for it on a fateful late fourth and 1.

The defense as sloppily coordinated by Bob Slowik was a dysfunctional mess all season long, including Sunday. Players have begun openly questioning his schemes, which they apparently do not understand and aren’t executing.
How much many people will have to be fired before the Packers fix their problems? Depends, asl always, who else is available. And right now, there's not a whole lotta talent in the NFL coaching ranks.
