Will Reverend Wright sue the Holocaust Museum shooter for plagiarism?

Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo has the content of the note found in Holocaust Memorial Shooter James von Brunn's car:
"You want my weapons -- this is how you'll get them. The Holocaust is a lie. Obama was created by Jews. Obama does what his Jew owners tell him to do. Jews captured America's money. Jews control the mass media."

This is the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, President Obama's former pastor and mentor, quoted yesterday:

Asked if he had spoken to the president, Wright said: "Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office. ...

"They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is. ... I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do."

Wright also said Obama should have sent a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism held recently in Geneva, Switzerland, but that the president did not do so for fear of offending Jews and Israel.

"Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing (by) the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said.

I think the Reverend has a good case for plagiarism, don't you?

"Them Jews"

Why is it always the Jews? The Reverend Jeremiah Wright, President Obama's former pastor, once again shows he's nothing more than a garden-variety bigot, hardly a man of God. This time he lets his anti-Semitism show:

Pastor and mentor to the future president of the United States. President Obama recently said his turn towards a stronger Christian faith came when he saw the good work of Christians in Chicago. What was it exactly that he saw in the Reverend Wright's preaching that he found good or worth following?

Official confirmation of who rates where at the Obama White House

Well, it's official. Jake Tapper of ABC News questioned President Obama's Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today:
TAPPER: This is really just out of curiosity more than anything. How do you guys decide which acts of violence will prompt a White House response and which ones won't? There was a statement that went out about Dr. Tiller. How is the decision made that that would get a presidential statement, whereas the military recruiter in the Arkansas shooting would not?

GIBBS: Well, I believe a statement did go to many stations in Arkansas regarding that.

Now you know. Abortionist murdered in Kansas, statement by the president to the nation. Soldier assassinated in Arkansas by Islamic jihadist, statement to the local media. Fortunately for Obama, today's murder of a guard at the Holocaust Museum occurred in Washington D.C. so they won't have to decide what type of statement it merits.

Rick Warren on the road to Damascus

Christopher Hitchens introduces us to the other side of the Rev. Rick Warren, the one that posed for pictures in Damascus:
Whatever time Warren managed to get with the dear bristled leader was not wasted—you should check out the hilarious parody of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza that accidentally results from the official photograph—and whatever hospitality he received from the Syrian authorities did not go unreturned. "Syria," he told his viewers back home by video, is "a moderate country, and the official government rule and position is to not allow extremism of any kind." This is a highly original way to describe a regime that is joined at the hip with the Iranian theocracy, that is the patron of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and that is the official and unabashed host of the fugitive Hamas leadership whose military wing directs massacre operations from Damascus itself. (One might also add that the Syrian Baath Party's veteran defense minister,* Mustafa Tlas, published a book under his own name that accused Jews of using the blood of non-Jewish children for the making of those ever-menacing Passover matzos. I suppose it depends how you define extremism.)

Warren also told his hosts that 80% of America opposed the administration's policy in Iraq. It's as if Peter Arnett had a religious calling.

Our good pastor also found the time to tell his captive audience—if I may use such an unoriginal phrase in a literal way—that 80 percent of his countrymen opposed the administration's policy in Iraq. Assume yourself, dear reader, to be one of that possible 80 percent. Did you ever ask to be spoken for by Warren, who was a guest of a regime that sponsors al-Qaida infiltrators in Iraq, or to see him denounce the administration in front of an audience of Syrians that had no choice but to listen to whatever it was told? For shame.

Andrew Sullivan, Conspiracy Theorist

Jonathan Last at Galley Slaves has been following The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan and his Palin Derangement Syndrome. Sullivan may have been muzzled by The Atlantic briefly before stepping back from his wild conspiracy Palin-pregnancy accusations.

But even I couldn't believe this piece of derangement and paranoia,

Bill Kristol on Sarah Palin. All he writes about in this piece of propaganda is electoral strategy and the people he hates in the media. In a week, he hasn't said a word about Sarah Palin's foreign policy views. I know she's being safely indoctrinated by Joe Lieberman and AIPAC as we speak but the fact that Kristol, like the rest of us, has not yet been able to point to a single view of hers on foreign policy in her entire life, is eloquent enough. (emphasis added)

Hey Andrew, hate the Jews much?

Some of his best friends are Jewish bankers that control the world

Our friend David in San Francisco brings this to our attention.

This oughtta increase former Governor Tommy! Thompson's popularity with the readers of the Protocols of Zion. According to the Associated Press:
"I'm in the private sector and for the first time in my life I'm earning money," Thompson told the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. "You know that's sort of part of the Jewish tradition and I do not find anything wrong with that."

Later, he added: "I just want to clarify something because I didn't (by) any means want to infer or imply anything about Jews and finances and things. What I was referring to, ladies and gentlemen, is the accomplishments of the Jewish religion. You've been outstanding business people and I compliment you for that."

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz first reported the comments.
This is what Haaretz reported:
Speaking to an audience at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Washington D.C., Thompson said that, "I'm in the private sector and for the first time in my life I'm earning money. You know that's sort of part of the Jewish tradition and I do not find anything wrong with that."

Thompson later apologized for the comments that had caused a stir in the audience, saying that he had meant it as a compliment, and had only wanted to highlight the "accomplishments" of the Jewish religion.

"I just want to clarify something because I didn't [by] any means want to infer or imply anything about Jews and finances and things," he said.

"What I was referring to, ladies and gentlemen, is the accomplishments of the Jewish religion. You've been outstanding business people and I compliment you for that."
Do I believe that the former governor is anti-Semitic? No. Do I believe Tommy! has no business running for President? Heck yeah.
