Now you know why there is pressure on Bunning to not run again

Kevin Binversie at Lakeshore Laments passes along a report on Senator Jim Bunning's amateur medical opinion regarding Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning predicted over the weekend that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg would likely be dead from pancreatic cancer within nine months.

During a wide-ranging 30-minute speech on Saturday at the Hardin County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner, Bunning said he supports conservative judges “and that’s going to be in place very shortly because Ruth Bader Ginsburg … has cancer.”

“Bad cancer. The kind that you don’t get better from,” he told a crowd of about 100 at the old State Theater.

“Even though she was operated on, usually, nine months is the longest that anybody would live after (being diagnosed) with pancreatic cancer,” he said.

I think the minimum we should expect of a US Senator is that he not behave like a ghoul, especially when that senator is 77 years old.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized

The Associated Press is reporting US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been hospitalized with pancreatic cancer. The good news is that the cancer appears to have been caught at an early stage. We wish her a full recovery.
