Speaking of UW-Milwaukee graduates, a group of campus radicals (you know, faculty and administrators) want to get rid of the hyphenated name and go with something more catchy, like Wisconsin State University. I dunno, maybe it's the conservative traditionalist in me but WSU reminds me too much of where I went roller skating as a small child.
Elliot Stearns has some thoughts, although I think his suggestion sounds too Canadian, too non-accredited business school.
Rick Esenberg may have the most useful suggestion regarding the name change.
Me? If we have to change the name, how about "Warrior University?"
