Bill Christofferson, fresh from claiming victory over the Iraq War in that bastion of militarism known as Shorewood, asks why not have a referendum on the Iraq War statewide?
How about, because we already did? You remember, the 2004 election in Wisconsin? Feingold won? Bush lost? It really, really counted, unlike the stupid advisory referendums from last Tuesday?
Ya know, I really hate reminding the political Left when they had victories. Makes me break out in a rash.
But if it will make Christofferson feel better, he can have a state wide referendum on the Iraq War in 2006: nine congressional elections. Just add up the votes and that's the total score for the state.
