As part of the Shameless Promotion Department's constant effort to attract more readership, the Waukesha Freeman is running today a guest opinion piece written by me on the possible reduction of the size of the Waukesha County Board.Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas owes Gov. James Doyle a hug. A manly hug to be sure, but it needs to be a big, warm, bear hug. When Doyle reversed his position and signed the bill that allows counties to reduce the size of their county boards, Vrakas must have thought to himself, “Happy New Year you big lug!”Yeah, well, the editor liked it.
