Marlow announces late endorsement by Grothman

Dave Marlow's campaign announced an endorsement by State Senator Glen Grothman.

“This race is too important for the direction of our state for me to sit on the sidelines,” stated Grothman, adding “it is all too rare for Republicans to get the chance to elect someone with the courage and credentials of Dave Marlow. I strongly urge conservatives in the 33rd to vote for someone they can trust, Dave Marlow, to put the conservative values of constituents above the opportunity for personal gain.”

“Dave has proven himself time and again, whether it was cutting taxes on the school board or standing up to liberals within his own party at election time,” Grothman continued. “We need Dave Marlow in the state legislature to ensure the success of a true conservative agenda, especially TABOR. No one will fight harder for your values. He has earned the support of conservatives like Sen. Reynolds and myself, he deserves yours too.”
Grothman became a cause celebre among conservatives when he defeated State Senate Majority Leader Mary Panzer in last year's primary. Grothman has since earned the ire of some conservatives for his failure to push TABOR forward.
