Election Day in the 33rd Assembly

Well, I am glad it's over. No more cryptic, anonymous e-mails. No wondering what crazy person is going to leave what crazy comment today. All you can do, if you live in the district (or if you have a letter from the state elections board), is go to the polls and vote. The polls open in one hour, so you still have time to hit the McDonalds drive through.

Since I can't vote, at least let me thank everyone who came to read my blog and participate in the discussions. Really. I have enjoyed it, even if some of you went loopy. Of course, many of you stopped by because you didn't want to spend 50 cents for the Waukesha Freeman (cheap bastards!), but I hope that you enjoyed what you read here and come back often.

It certainly has been an educational experience for me. I suspect it's been an educational experience for a number of my readers as well. I know there are some things I'll do different when the Spring elections come (yes, despite the weather, some day Spring will come). And when the results come in, I suspect there will be four politicians who will wish they did things differently.

I've expressed my beliefs on who will win here and here. I tell you for whom I would vote here. And, in case Scott Newcomer gets lost looking for his polling place, he can check here.

We should pause on this important day to remember what's really important: me. It's all about me, and you should feel grateful to have me. Because I'm going to be here every day kicking the fanny of whomever wins.
