WAUKESHA - Jenifer Finley announced today that she has decided to leave the position of Chief of Staff to the Waukesha County Executive at the end of the year, saying the first phase of the transitional period in Waukesha County Government is now complete.Because Waukesha County government is sooooo biiiiiig, it must've been exhausting to handle only the first part of a transition that has now taken two months. (We'll ignore that White House transitions take less time, and those Chiefs of Staff stick around for four years.) At least she didn't say she left to spend more time with her family.
Finley said that: “My first job was to get Dan Vrakas elected, along with the good work of many others. My second assignment was to assist the County Executive elect in the transition from his position of Legislator to that of occupying the office of County Executive. I feel the first phase of that transition is now complete.”
