...or at least another aircraft capable of landing at Crites Field. I hope she held out for the really, really big bucks when The Waukesha Freeman added her as an op-ed columnist.
Of course, this is a return for Jessica to the world of print. After all, she's been a writer for The Waukesha Freeman before, as well as The (West) Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Still it will be interesting to see how she adjusts again to a world without sound effects, neat pictures and funny graphics. She's stuck in the world of black and white, which is probably why she'll never give up blogging. After all, with the newspaper thing you can't be nearly as funny or juvenile as you can with a blog.
It will be interesting, too, to see how she handles the potential conflicts of interest given she just worked for the current County Executive's election campaign and her husband, Paul Bucher, is the current Waukesha County District Attorney and a candidate for State Attorney General.
What cannot be denied is that she will be a definite improvement to the Freeman's opinion page.
