WTL FINDS VRAKAS LESS TAXING
Waukesha Taxpayers League Endorses Republican Vrakas for County Executive
(Waukesha)… Republican Dan Vrakas today secured one of the most sought-after endorsements of the Waukesha County Executive race – the Waukesha County Taxpayers League (WTL).
In endorsing Vrakas, Chris Lufter, President of WTL, said the choice was made because of Vrakas’ fiscal conservatism, including his support of the Real Property Tax Freeze and the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights.
“The Waukesha Taxpayers League wants Waukesha to remain strong, but we also need Waukesha to become more affordable to its citizens,” Lufter said. “Dan is a conservative. There is a distinct difference between Waukesha County residents’ income and our tax level, and we fully expect that Dan will be active in the county, the region, and the state in promoting the goal of making Waukesha County less taxing.”
Vrakas said he was humbled and empowered by this key endorsement.
"This endorsement means a great deal to me," Vrakas said. “The Waukesha Taxpayers League embodies President Ronald Reagan’s philosophy of lower taxes and less government, and this endorsement is proof positive that I am the true tax cutter and fiscal conservative in the race.”
