Ms. Wheelchair America pageant directors targeted because they are not disabled

According to the Associated Press, three former Ms. Wheelchair title holders are asking pageant executive director Pat O'Bryant and board president Gail McKoon.
The vice president of the five-member Ms. Wheelchair America board, Robert Watson of Maryland, said the board supports O'Bryant and McKoon.

"I believe that every board should have diversity on it," said Watson, who has cerebral palsy. "I believe that this board does have diversity. I believe a diverse board is healthy, wealthy and wise." [emphasis added]
For the record, Benjamin Franklin was not disabled either. No word yet whether the staff of the pageant are early risers. Mark Twain (who was not disabled either) was quoted in response saying, he didn't think being an early riser was necessary to serve on the board of Ms. Wheelchair Wisconsin. "If they had let me take my natural rest, where would I have been now?"
