I will be at a “rally” tonight to protest the proposed increase in school property taxes. The rally is at 7pm at the Schutze Building, 1120 Baxter Street. I am not expecting a large attendance as it took some detective work to get the details after hearing about it on the radio while listening to Jeff Wagner.
What the school board is proposing is, of course, outrageous, even for school referendums. $5 million for operating costs every year.
