what's on the radio?

WTMJ radio "personality" Jeff Wagner predicts electoral vote landslide, vote fraud will not be a factor. (Capital punishment was not mentioned as possible deterrent.)

WISN radio morning team Weber and Dolan announce they will be praying for a Washington Redskins win, putting politics above football. Apparently if the Redskins win their last home game before the election, the incumbent party wins re-election.

It's one thing to hope the Packers lose, but a Redskins victory? This is supposedly the most important election in a generation and I'm a patriotic guy, but rooting for the Redskins may be too much for my country to ask. Fortunately, James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal has been poking holes in this theory, maybe freeing me from this moral quandary (see "The Maryland Redskins").
