That's good, but last week the Packers could have stayed in the locker room and the St Norbert's College team could've joined their cheerleaders out on the field and the Cowboys still would have lost. We're down, worse than when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
To beat Detroit, the defense that was #1 last year will need to return to the field. The secondary is going to have to step it up against the OTHER Roy Williams.
On offense, no mistakes. No penalties. And when the running game breaks down (after the first handoff), THROW IT!!! THROW IT!!! Don't wait until third and long. THROW IT!!!
Special teams? Maybe tell the punter to [ahem] save his energy for the game. I don't know what else they can do to fix that sorry mess.
On the other hand, if the 'Boys look like the Brewers again this week, the coaching staff can't wait any longer. Time to put the rookie quarterbacks out there.
