Van Hollen gets some budget money back

State Attorney General JB Van Hollen got his wish today when Assembly Democrats gave his office $5.4 million. From the state GOP blog:
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen will get $5.4 million back for public safety funding after Democrats tried cutting his budget for partisan reasons. The Assembly reinstated the funds after the AG launched a campaign to get the much-needed funds. The Senate and Governor Doyle still have a go at the budget however so stay tuned to WISGOP.org throughout the budget process.

I think I'll be out of the room looking for a Snickers bar next year when Van Hollen brags about how much of this money he's giving back to the state.
