The Batman is 70 years old today. Batman was DC Comics second superhero after Superman and is one of the most popular comic book superheroes ever. Batman made his debut in Detective Comics #27.
In 1990, Batman creator Bob Kane was interviewed on National Public Radio. Kane drew Batman from its inception in 1939 to the late 60s.
