Businesses in Milwaukee upset with the recent referendum requiring employers offer nine sick days may have nothing to worry about. As Michael Horne points out, the government agency in charge of enforcing the law has no members. Better yet, it has not had any members appointed since the Norquist administration.
"Hi, you have reached the City of Milwaukee Equal Rights Commission. We're not here right now, and haven't been for five years. If your employer is not offering nine days sick leave, good luck with that."
