A man accused of spying on two women as they showered in a University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh dormitories apologized in court Friday as he was sentenced to nine months in jail.
Forty-five-year-old Allen Umentum of Pulaski was convicted of two counts of invasion of privacy.
The victims weren't in Winnebago County Circuit Court, but they wrote letters to the judge.
One wrote that since the incident, she lives in constant fear and must carry pepper spray at all times, even when she showers.
The other wrote that "This crime made me feel extremely violated."
