Somehow my invitation to this little clambake was lost in the mail. Superintendent David Schmidt's retirement luncheon was a self-congratulatory affair totally ignoring the havoc that has been wrought in his tenure.
Perhaps instead of a retirement celebration with 150 friends they could've invited the taxpayers to offer a "roast" of the guest of honor. At least then we could've gotten our money's worth.
