WARREN, Mich. (AP) -- A would-be bank robber came away empty-handed, but left behind something useful for police - her photo identification. Police Commissioner William Dwyer said the woman was arrested on an attempted armed robbery charge less than an hour later.

Dwyer told The Detroit News that the woman filled out an account application Thursday morning, then pulled a handgun and demanded cash. But she panicked and fled without getting any money. Police found an address on the account application, along with her photo ID.

Leaving behind her photo id was stupid. After all, you never know when you might need to stop for some Sudafed.
