A group has formed, Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain, to attack Senator John McCain's record in Vietnam. The site accuses McCain of betraying his country, of being a "Manchurian Candidate" and receiving special treatment from his Vietnamese captors.
I'm not a fan of the senator's politics, especially on campaign finance reform, but there is no question about the senator's military record. The man is a hero, and this attack is just despicable.
