The New York Times reports Suzanne Pleshette died in her home Saturday. She was 70 years old.
Most will remember Pleshette for her role as Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show. But in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" Pleshette played the role of Annie Hayworth, the woman who didn't get Mitch Brenner, and she played it to perfection.
