I’ve mentioned before the lawsuit brought by WEAC, the state teachers union, against Wisconsin Virtual Academy (WIVA) that argued because parents actually took a role in their children’s educations the school should be shut down.
Now there’s a new website, everykiddeservesagreatschool.com, that tells the story of Wisconsin’s virtual schools and the job they’re doing educating Wisconsin kids. The site also educates the public on the lawsuit brought by WEAC against a school that actually works.
The state teachers union claims to believe, “Every Kid Deserves a Great School”. Apparently when the kid gets to one, then the union believes it should be taken away again.
