The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting a group in Lisbon has formed to recall the town chairman Michael Reed. Unless there's some compelling reason to recall Reed other than what was given in the article, the recall effort should fail.
The recall effort is the result of Reed's efforts to get rid of the police force and replace the service with the Waukesha County Sheriffs. This is a policy dispute, not an abuse of power. I understand people are upset at the decision, but that's what elections are for - regularly scheduled elections.
