Looks like public art to me
Darryl Enriquez is back and he wonders our opinions about the latest addition to downtown. Looks like public art to me. Seriously, it fits in a city that is the hometown of guitar giant Les Paul and with the kind of downtown we're trying to have, even if the mayor is afraid of Waukesha becoming pretentious.
Meanwhile, Seth Zlotocha and his blog In Effect is heading into semi-retirement as he heads back to graduate school. On the one hand, a serious and formidable blogger on the local left is leaving the battlefield. On the other hand, he'll be molding minds of college students if he pursues an academic career. We can only hope he'll discover the laws of economics before he teaches his students about how government can magically create efficiency in health care.
In them meantime, he's always free to come here and debate over a couple of Big Macs and fries.
