Our old friend Conventional Wisdom tells us that the Presidential nomination schedule in 2008 will be really, really short. The contest for both parties' nominations begins next week and could be over as quickly as February 5th when both parties have over 20 primaries.
Or, the nominations could drag out to the conventions, a topic explored in this week's column in the Waukesha Freeman. Fun stuff for political junkies, not so fun for the campaigns.
I'm looking forward to the Republican convention in Minneapolis/St Paul, aren't you? I wonder who is going to be there.
