The suspects, all of whom were wearing different shades of black and had their faces concealed with hats and handkerchiefs, entered City News and Video, 1606 Pearl St., at 2:30 a.m., said Waukesha Police Department Sgt. John Konkol. Two suspects displayed handguns and then demanded money from the clerks, Konkol said.
Konkol said they made off with $500 from the register, though Manager Megan Healey said that the amount was closer to $200.
There were no injuries reported, and there were no customers in the 24-hour store at the time of the incident, Konkol said.
I just don't believe there were no customers in the store. The store is open 365 days/year and the parking lot is never empty, including on Christmas Day.
