So how long does he think they should serve?

State Representative Gary Sherman doesn't believe there are career politicians in Wisconsin.
"Now, as I prepare to enter my fifth term..."
"...the average length of service in the Wisconsin Assembly is just 12 years."

I'm not a big fan of term limits, and I don't see anything wrong with people choosing a career of public service. But let's not pretend there isn't a significant segment of the legislature making that choice, including State Representative Gary Sherman, even if it is his second career.
