I announced the Tommy Thompson Suck-Up Watch fully believing I would never have to do anything with it. I think a six part Tommy Thompson hagiography takes the prize, whatever it will be, since I didn't think I would have to come up with one.
Still, for those of you who wonder at the Tommy Nostalgia Tour about to depart for Iowa, I do recommend reading Brian Fraley's lengthy (longer than the Van Hollen victory lap) paean to the former governor. I have a hunch the next four years under Doyle are going to make us all really nostalgic for the Thompson reign.
