Seeking advancement without pause

Leland: These men who were with the Chronicle. Weren't they just as devoted to the Chronicle politics as they are now to our policies?

Bernstein: Sure, they're just like anybody else. They got work to do, they do it! Only they happen to be the best men in the business!
State Representative Dean Kaufert says "he is open to serving in Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle's administration, though he hasn't been offered a job" according to the Appleton Post-Crescent.

"I'm not looking to leave the Legislature," Kaufert said. "(But) if an opportunity arose, I would have to consider it."

You may recall Kaufert unsuccessfully challenged State Representative Mike Huebsch for Assembly Speaker.

I guess if Kaufert doesn't get to lead his party, he'll sell it out.
