Quarterback Tony Romo, who said his ex-girlfriend broke up with him just hours before he took over the reins of America's Team, recently revealed having a crush on actress and singer Jessica Simpson, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Media outlets are reporting that Simpson's representatives heard the rumor and got in touch with Romo's people and set up a date. The couple are now rumored to be an item.

Think about this for a second. You broke up with your girlfriend and you became the #1 quarterback for America's Team. On the flip side, ask Nick Lachey how his career is doing. Okay, I'm too old to know how Nick Lachey's career is going, but it probably would've been better without Jessica Simpson around.

Tony, think of the guys. Do you think Terrell Owens would put himself before the team just to date some Hollywood Star? Okay, bad example.

What about Bill? Have you even thought of Coach Parcells once while you're out with Jessica?
