Party in Pewaukee, that rocking town

The Waukesha County Republican Party will once again have an event at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee, this time the election night party.
Come join Waukesha County Republicans to follow election results at the Country Springs Hotel at 2810 Golf Road, Pewaukee, sponsored by the Republican Party of Waukesha County. Serving as master of ceremonies will be our own County Executive Dan Vrakas, who will be joined by Assembly candidates Bill Kramer and Rich Zipperer, as well as assorted elected officials. Also attending will be the Republican Candidate for Secretary of State Sandy Sullivan.
Now, Bill Kramer's district does not include Pewaukee. You would think he would have at least one campaign function in his district. Just one.

Meanwhile, Mark Green and JB Van Hollen are holding a rally tomorrow night, also in Pewaukee.

November 5 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Now what does Pewaukee have that Waukesha doesn't have? They're even cracking down on escort services in Pewaukee. You'd think the Republicans would know that, given that their campaign headquarters is just a block away from the adult bookstore City News. You'd think they would've heard something.

I'm going to blame our mayor, Larry Nelson. As ambassador for our city, apparently he's done nothing to make Republicans feel welcome in our city. I think maybe Nelson should make a special effort to reach out to Republicans by crashing their "victory party" Tuesday night. I'm sure City Administrator Jim Payne will approve the expense as long as Larry remembers his receipt. Larry can schmooze the crowd and remind them of all the advantages the city of Waukesha has.

Who knows? Maybe he can get Waukesha's next representative to the state assembly to hold an event in the district.
