I will not be doing any formal endorsements here at the Wigderson Library & Pub. The few times I've done formal endorsements I've thought they just sounded silly coming from a part-time writer with a website. Almost as silly as reading the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's formal endorsements. While there are sometimes special circumstances, I'll generally be adopting the philosophy of the Waukesha Freeman.
Besides, if I don't endorse anyone I'm free to write as a critic rather than as a partisan. I know that distinction is lost on some, but it's important to me.
However, some endorsements are worth noting for what they say, and between now and Tuesday I will be highlighting a few of the more interesting ones.
