Doing his part to keep the highways safe

My brother-in-law Mike is an avid sportsman. He hunts deer, elk, and even rattlesnakes. One of his nicknames is "sure shot" but I think he might have to relinquish the title after this story:
Deer hunters who didn't bag a deer this season might be discouraged to hear about the 13-year-old from the Stevens Point area who got two deer -- with one shot.

Ryan Roman said he was sleeping as he and his father sat in a tree stand in Wood County last week.

He woke up when he heard a shot from his grandfather's gun -- and that's when he saw two does standing back-to-back near his tree.

He said he grabbed his Remington 243 rifle and shot at the bigger doe.

The smaller doe fell right away, he said, and the larger one ran about 40 yards and then collapsed.
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
