Former Democratic state representative and current UW-Milwaukee Associate Professor Mordecai Lee just predicted the 97th assembly district is "in play" on Belling & Company. The two candidates in the 97th assembly district are County Supervisor Bill Kramer(R) and Steve Schmucki (D). What's striking about Lee's statement is that he almost never comments on elections west of 124th street. Often when he's asked on Belling & Company his opinion on elections outside Milwaukee County, he tries to dodge it.
This week he made the race his "Hot Tip of the Week," an unsolicited (at least by Belling) plug.
