The Capital Times' Dave Zweiful believes the Foley case is hurting the cause of those trying to defeat the gay marriage amendment. He said his colleague John Nichols is convinced Foley is dooming the effort, while Zweiful is hopeful Wisconsinites will overlook a gay Congressman's efforts to reach out and touch Congressional Pages via e-mail.
Of course, if liberals weren't so hot to exploit the failings of one homosexual to tar the entire Republican Party, maybe the public wouldn't be talking about how a gay man in authority inappropriately instant-messaged a young subordinate in a sexually explicit manner. It's just free advice I offer, but it's a question of priorities.
