And now a 97th Assembly update

Orphans: The Steve Schmuki campaign is reporting they are looking for homes for a few yards signs. They add parenthetically, "(All of our locations have been O.K.'d by the property owner.)" Pretty funny.

Endorsements: Congratulations to County Supervisor Bill Kramer, who not only was endorsed by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, but it's an endorsement his opponent can't use. It's worth noting State Representative Scott Gunderson was not endorsed by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel even though his positions are similar to Kramer's and Gunderson's opponent is similar to Schmuki.

On an interesting note about Schmuki's supporters, former Mayor Carol Lombardi is on the endorsement list. When we last checked on the mayor, she was having the police harass innocent petition signature gatherers and dancing on her desk when the Taxpayer Bill of Rights was defeated. Lombardi was also responsible for the City of Waukesha's rule by administrator Jim Payne. I wonder how well that is working out?

Events: Bill Kramer is having a fundraiser at the Country Springs Hotel October 24th 6PM to 8PM. Steve Schmuki is having a rally on November 4th. Schmuki supporters are meeting at Sprizzo's in downtown Waukesha to get out the vote lit drop 1pm to 3pm, then food and drink afterwards 3pm to 5pm.
