It was a terribly long night, made unnecessarily long and cruel by a computer glitch that made it appear Chris Lufter defeated Bill Kramer in the 97th Assembly District. Unfortunately, the reverse was true, Kramer defeated Lufter 55% to 44%.

My heart goes out to the Lufter family. You shouldn't be told that you won only to have it yanked away.
