Paul Bucher, outgoing Waukesha County District Attorney currently running for Wisconsin Attorney General, nominated Schimel to succeed him. Recognizing his accomplishments as a successful prosecutor in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s office, the Board unanimously voted Brad Schimel Chairperson.
