I have bad news to pass along. The Waukesha County Board Executive Committee did not pick Doreen Wigderson, aka "Doreen from Waukesha", to fill the vacancy on the Waukesha County Board caused by the death of Supervisor Andy Kallin. Alas, fears of a "Wigderson political/media empire" in Waukesha are unfounded, or at least premature.
Instead, they picked Steve Wimmer, 1918 Harvest Lane, Waukesha, an attorney and chairman of the city's Sign Review Board. He is also the son of Waukesha judge Joe Wimmer.
It's a small world after all.
