Wispolitics.com is reporting that Robert Gerald Lorge is accused in a civil lawsuit of child molestation.
The suit was filed in December, so I think the claim by Lorge's attorney that the timing was meant to disrupt Lorge's US Senate candidacy is a big stretch. After all, in December most political observers believed that the state GOP would find someone other than Lorge to be the candidate.
Lorge is accused of sexually molesting a three-year-old girl in 1986. Family members of Lorge contend the charges are motivated by the vindictiveness of the alleged victim's mother.
