The Newcomer countdown officially ends today. As you can see from the picture, it won't be long now until the Newcomers move into the dream home on the lake close to freeway access, parkland, Wal-Mart and a very busy McDonald's. Most importantly, it means State Representative Scott Newcomer will be living in the district soon, probably the most anticipated move since the Braves left Milwaukee.
Well, there goes the neighborhood.
I'm told by a friend that he actually took the counter with a sense of humor, which doesn't surprise me. Some of his supporters got bent out of shape, but they'll get over it. At least, until I make fun of low-flow toilets or something.
