Just got back from a bird flu conference in Chicago. Took the train, only $40 round trip from Mitchell International to Union Station. Only five dollars to park at the parking lot all day. No wonder Amtrak loses money. Of course, the train got stuck waiting on track repairs on the way back.
Amazingly, I was not mobbed for my autograph in Chicago. I, a famous blogger and political analyst. Not even a shoe shine boy.
