98th Assembly race just got a jolt

Rich Zipperer, running in the 98th Assembly Race, was the only candidate to receive the endorsement of Wisconsin Right to Life.

Some endorsements in primaries are more important than others. In fact, most are meaningless as they're split up among the candidates. But getting the Wisconsin Right to Life endorsement is critical to a Republican primary campaign. I'm not saying that it can't be overcome, but not getting it really, really hurts.

It's like seeing the dentist's diploma on the wall. Marquette Dental School, okay. Caribbean Dental College and Bait Shop, not so good.

At this point, Zipperer has to be seen as the front runner in that race.
