I'll have to ask Jay if this is the kind of poetry they read at the Coffee House. (For the record, it was not me in attendance yelling "Freebird"!)
Robert Miranda's poem or essay or whatever certainly has an interesting syntax, vocabulary and lack of grammar. The complete lack of any artistic merit makes the collection of words a curiousity, if nothing else. I think it needed a "kill Whitey" or two to have any real impact. I was really disappointed he didn't include a Che Guevara reference. Perhaps next time.
