The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting Alderman Larry Nelson defeated State Representative Ann Nischke and will become the next mayor of Waukesha.
While I clearly thought it was possible that Nelson would defeat Nischke, I think it's going to take a few days to get myself to believe it.
I understand Nelson's first declaration is that all private property will be seized and capitalist oppressors will be shot on sight. I'm hoping for a peaceful stint in a re-education camp myself.
