Michael Horne, who once made the Shepherd Express a must read on the East Side, reports Doug Hissom has left the "alternative" weekly, either willingly or unwillingly. Far be it from me to suggest a career path to Hissom, but MMSD might be looking for a scum skimmer at the water treatment plant.
