The Waukesha County Board Executive Committee is meeting Monday morning, and on the agenda is the reduction of the county board to either 25 or 19 members, or they consider reducing the board by a token amount just to end the referendum/petition drive.
The Waukesha Taxpayers League is asking for everyone to do their best to gather signatures before Monday. We need to put pressure on the County Board to make a real reduction in their membership and not a token reduction to make their constituents just go away.
The Waukesha Taxpayers League is also looking for donations. As you can imagine, the cost of printing all of these petitions as well as other costs are adding up. The Waukesha Taxpayers League is made up of volunteers, and they are giving of their time and treasure generously, but they need your help. So give what you can.
