When I talk about crime in Milwaukee on the Northwest side of town, some people tend to get upset that a white suburbanite like me has anything to say. So, let me just point out that this is a neighborhood I once played in, helped a friend deliver newspapers, walked through to get to the public library, and attended the elementary school nearby.
Oh yeah, this is the high school I attended. I even went to some of the basketball games.
